Job Description : *MUST* be 18+, hold an SIA licence and preference if you can drive but not essential.Lingwood Security are recruiting NHS Roaming Guards to join them at Westmorland General Hospital. Duties shall include:Carry out roaming duties at the hospital – must be physical fit.Supporting the NHS staff at all times.Being present.Being presentable and smart.Meeting and greeting visitors, patients and staff – being polite and helpful with queries and directions.Being able to understand situations quickly.Being resilient in dealing with other people’s challenging behaviour.Have good communication skills written and verbally; speaking to members of the public and complete log reports.Hours of work are typically 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00, 4-5 shifts per week.Please be aware you will be required to:Ensure patient confidentiality – no contacting patients, never discuss incidents outside of workIncident reportChose appropriate times for your break (informing NHS staff when taking break)Completion of Log booksAs an employer we are committed to protecting the mental health and physical health of all our staff and have an excellent staff portal with many benefits to offer: Monthly Pay (PAYE)The reassurance that you will be paid on the 9th of every month.
