We are seeking an enthusiastic and team orientated professional to work with students, academic staff and industry partner organisations to deliver the operational and administrative requirements of the Work Integrated Learning program within PACE and Employability.
Salary Package: From $86,851-$95,869 per annum (HEW level 6), plus 17% superannuation.
Appointment Type: Full-time, continuing role
Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde campus
THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PACE & Employability Officer to join the team supporting Work Integrated Learning programs. The role provides administrative and project management services across a diverse range of work integrated learning activities across Faculty PACE units. Key accountabilities include liaising with external industry partners; providing logistical and operational support of the PACE program; supporting PACE unit convenors and academics with the co-ordination and delivery of PACE activities; and contributing to the development, implementation and quality assurance of business processes.
About You
Reporting to the PACE & Employability Manager you will: demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to engage with students, unit convenors and partner organisations; be flexible and able to multi-task to work effectively within a small team environment; and display attention to detail to ensure effective execution of the operational and administrative requirements underpinning the PACE initiative.
About Us
Professional and Community Engagement (PACE) is a University-wide initiative designed to provide undergraduate students with work integrated learning opportunities with a range partners to improve employability as part of their Degree. PACE units provide an academic framework through which students can engage with the community, learn through participation, develop their capabilities and build the skills valued by employers.
Selection Criteria
Experience in project management with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Administration experience, including planning and implementing business processes and systems
Experience in stakeholder management with industry, government or not-for–profit organisations
Experience in a customer service role, preferably within the education sector
