About the role
As the Marketing Manager of the Channel Partnership, you will be the marketing lead behind our integrated marketing initiatives to drive growth of our product business lines with our channel partners.
Responsible for managing marketing plans and programs through working with and enabling partners, your role will be key in understanding our partner’s profile in terms of marketing and selling our products, our partner’s customers, and primary buyers. You will leverage this knowledge to propose marketing tactics to enable and increase sales and awareness within the channel community.
You will provide detailed communication management, enablement management, internal team alignment and activation guidelines to partner marketing programs, along with supporting analysis and reporting on initiatives. You will successfully work with the Partnership Team to establish and maintain the infrastructure necessary to support the channel, track and analyse partner performance and impact on the competitive landscape.
What you’ll be doing
Work closely with Partnership Team in developing and executing marketing initiatives (such as incentives, enablement, co-marketing, marketing development funding, etc) as an integral part of the Partner Program
Collaborate with our Apps Marketing team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, ensure our channel partners are considered in every program and campaign we run, and develop or adapt existing product campaigns targeting different partner personas (solution architects, consultants, sales, etc)
Manage all channel partner marketing communications (newsletters, product notifications, relevant company updates, etc)
Lead the creation of enablement materials and other helpful resources to arm our channel partners with everything they need to succeed in sales and marketing.
Support partner summits and other related events
Evaluate the marketing performance of channel partners on a periodic basis. Ensure tight alignment with our Partnership Team to ensure consistency
What we’re looking for
Comprehensive marketing experience – channel partnerships
Familiarity in partner relationship management for the purpose of GTM and product distribution, lead or revenue generation, and other strategic initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration with cross functional teams and ability to bring new ideas to market
Demonstrated experience in leading projects across multiple teams in a highly consensus-driven environment.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, internal dynamics at a fast pace and tight timelines with a positive attitude.
Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
A few nice to haves
Experience within a fast-paced, fast-growth Tech start-up environment
Familiarity of the Atlassian ecosystem is an advantage
Organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency and follow-through
Ability to multitask, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
