Seeking a hardworking Apple enthusiast with a love of helping people. The Apple Developer Academy Program is an innovative educational program designed to grow learners to become proficient in all aspects of App Development: UI/UX, Business and Presentation Skills, Coding, Analysis, Testing and more. These learners will be experiencing a state of the art, ever evolving, pedagogy and curriculum. To support this program you will need to be a quick problem solver, someone who loves a challenge, someone that can work just as easily within a team, leading a team or completely solo. This role will be responsible for pedagogy at the Apple Developer Academy alongside its companion program, the Apple Foundation Program. Several hundred of learners are expected to be trained each year. You will work with Apple’s teaching, administration and support staff all working together to achieve the main goal of training world class developers. Your role is to be the local primary pedagogy project manager. You will be working with, and feeding back to Apple’s Pedagogy Team while also supporting other internal teams, and coordinating the relationships with our University partner and all regional partners.
Key Qualifications
Collaborates well within a team and good interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English and Arabic is required (read/write/verbal); frequent communication with International partners is required.
Teaching experience preferably at Higher Education level.
Strong track record in project management.
Expertise in Coding, Design, Business & Marketing is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership ability to interact with partners at all levels.
Experience in team motivation, conflict facilitation, and individual mentoring.
Ability to provide research with excellent data handling, documentation, data analysis, and the ability to communicate key findings.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Willingness to travel for business as needed to complete the above requirements.
Self-starter mentality who can work without direct supervision
Description
Assist our Pedagogy Team with coordinating the relationships amongst all parties for all the Apple Developer Academy and Foundation projects in the Middle East. Coordinate communications between the Apple Developer Academy and the Apple team by acting as a link between all partners. Provide first level pedagogical support to the Academy and Foundations staff. Provide guidance and support for mentors learning about the CBL framework and the philosophy of the Academy that makes our program successful. Help the pedagogy team to collect, track and monitor evidences of learning, pedagogical data, student stories and alumni career data and stories. Coordinate with our Pedagogy Team and contractors from other countries as needed to accomplish any of the above goals. Supervise and report on the classroom activities and administrative initiatives of Apple Programs. Coordinate interactions with third parties involved in Apple operations in the Middle East. Support Apple Programs in the Middle East on their detailed project plans. Track and report the progress of each initiative. Manage the Academy project plan on behalf of Apple, and ensure the timely execution of all action points. Occasionally provide language translation during Apple visits or for key written documents. Be attuned to local voices and advise Apple’s Pedagogy team of cultural sensitivities. Provide market research on items identified by Apple Pedagogy team.
