Job Description : Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager or Manager opportunity on behalf of our client, a highly progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Carlisle.
This opportunity would suit an ATT Qualified or CTA Qualified (QBE also considered) Private Client Tax professional who is looking to progress their career and have plenty of flexibility.
You will become an important part of the leadership team, providing technical support to Partners, leading client meetings, ad-hoc specialist projects, managing junior staff, delegating work and be involved in business development activities.
The successful individual will be allocated their own portfolio of private clients being their first point of contact and be responsible for providing compliance services, working closely with the Tax Partner(s).
You will ideally have excellent technical skills and expertise in Capital Gains tax, Property tax, Trusts & Estates, Inheritance issues, Farmers averaging claims, Non domicile and Expatriate tax.
The successful individual will be rewarded with a generous remuneration and benefits package including flexi time, the option of working from home, an excellent pension, holiday entitlement and a range of optional benefits. Part time will also be considered.
Requirements:
CTA Qualified
ATT Qualified also considered
Experience of managing a Private Client portfolio (ideally)
Personal Tax background
