Job Description : Hello Candidates,Greetings from Nexus…!!!We are hiring for the position of ” Procurement Manager – Packaging Materials Management ” for a Food company in Phillaur, Ludhiana location.Experience – 10+ Years in Managing Packaging materials in Food IndustriesPreference is from FMCG industriesQualification : – Post Graduate from Indian Institute of Materials Management/MBA in Operations/Materials Management/Packaging ManagementDepartment – Procurement & Supply ChainReporting to – Head-ProcurementJob Responsibilities -Strategic RoleAligning & driving Business profitability and cost savings strategy with Packaging materials procurement objectives in order to ensure that sourcing group tasks & aims are articulated, understood & accepted by the team and the business.Build the strategy for identifying the channels of sourcing of Packaging Materials with excellent quality standards.Develops short & long-term plans that are comprehensive, realistic & effective in order to support hedging and cost optimisation of Packaging materials Procurement initiatives.Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the material management operations.Building the benchmark standards of inventory management system to plan and mitigate the short, mid and long term Business risksDevelop the competency of packaging materials management, buying & procurement within peers and organisation in structured manner.Supplier Relationship Management Manage relationships and ways of working with key suppliers in order to align understanding & commitment with customer expectations.Develop best in class vendor selection and management programImplement benchmark and world class commodities buying , hedging, inventory management and procurement systemIdentification of the new vendor and quality packaging material as per the specifications.Opening secondary channels to continue to reduce the risk in supply issue of any key packaging materialBusiness Partnering & Cross Function Collaboration:Collaborate with key team members like NPD & Quality, Marketing Head, Project Head & Operations Head (Running Units) to improve procurement processes capabilityDrive SAP Automation & transformation projects to create a cost efficient, agile and compliant procurement chainLeverage the spend and deliver annual savings through negotiations and innovative procurement strategiesSkills/ Knowledge 1 Packaging Materials Management2 Commercially astute3 Vendor Management4 Negotiations5 Contract management6 Market intelligenceInterested candidates can send their CV’s.Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹1,000,000.00 – ₹1,500,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftExperience:Procurement Manager – Packaging Materials Management: 10 years (Preferred)Procurement & Supply Chain: 10 years (Preferred)Biscuits Business strategy: 10 years (Preferred)procurement of the packaging materials: 10 years (Preferred)Supplier Relationship Management: 10 years (Preferred)FMCG industries or Food: 10 years (Preferred)
