Candidate with 5-6 years experience in production support. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. SQL expertise and Unix shell scripting is desired. Knowledge in Unix and Linux would be an added advantage.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Demonstrates ability to onboard and support Middleware jobs, and Business Intelligence dashboards and reports.Monitors and ensures all notifications and alerts are addressed, follows knowledge base to resolve and escalate issues, seeks, acquires, and documents knowledge for handling undocumented issues.Effectively manages ticket queues ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreement (SLA) and departmental guidelines; identifies and escalates critical tickets.Implements complex documented break-fix and run-the-engine tasks; resolves complex ad-hoc report requests; performs in-depth, end-to-end research to identify root cause of production issues across multiple systems and technologies.Follows planned and unplanned outage process, provides cross-training on job specific and departmental outage process, assists in tracking and coordinating outages.Performs development testing and other Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tasks as required for support.Maintains knowledge base and provides cross-training as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Candidate with 5-6 years experience in production support.
At least 2+ Years’ experience on middleware in Weblogic 12c.
Additionally if any experience in WebSphere Application server versions 6,7,8.Knowledge of deployment including Ear/war installation, data source, SSL, JMS etc.Middleware troubleshooting skills to resolving issues.Configuration of HTTP servers. (Apache/OHS/IHS)Weblogic, http server installation and configuration.Performance tuning in weblogic/Websphere/http.Linux commands and bash scripting.Familiar with TCP/IP and network protocols, firewall management and load balancers.
