Bachelor degree in engineering, safety or a related field.

Proficient with Microsoft office suite.

Amazon is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join the Program, insights, innovation, India (Pi3) team as Design, construction, startup (DCS) program manager. The WHS DCS Program Manager will be responsible for the technical design reviews, creating site launch reports, updating safety checklists, supporting field DCS managers with road to launch tasks, creating weekly metrics, management/ aggregation, and analysis of data received from the field teams, and perform analytics, data mining, and data visualization. The person in this position will report to the WHS Program Manager working within PI3 team and support NA, EU and ECCF DCS teams. The Program Manager will be key team member in our effort to providing mechanisms/processes to ensure a comprehensive view of the organization’s data is established, using that data to drive change, eliminate inefficiencies, and quickly adapt to industry or business needs
Key job responsibilities
Perform technical safety design reviews with understanding of design specifications for building designs, site concept drawings, floor plan, layouts etc for multiple BUs including AMZL, GSF, ATS.
Generation of reports in various platforms for leadership and field teams. Data Visualization – Charting and graphing of data for reporting purposes. Publish weekly status reports for leadership teams
Provide necessary support to our business partners and Pi3 DCS Program Managers to ensure that a site will be compliant with all applicable local, state, provincial, and federal safety regulations as well as the applicable industry consensus standards.
Manage SIM requests from WHS field or other groups.
Will be a key team member in our effort to providing mechanisms/processes to ensure a comprehensive view of the organization’s data is established, using that data to drive change, eliminate inefficiencies, and quickly adapt to industry or business needs.
In-depth research of defect trends and help develop processes to drive accountability and follow up actions
Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and apply technical expertise, requirements and solutions to the team and stakeholders.
Certifications – NEBOSH IDIP/IGC/CSP/ASP or equivalent
Change agent with energy, passion and skill to drive change.
Demonstrate ability to effectively balance and prioritize issues.
Strong relationship building/networking/interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience as a startup or launch program manager or as a process deployment program manage
Experience working with AppSheet, AutoCAD, and/or Playbook
Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design
