Digital, Operations and Technology (DOT) are responsible for the world-leading application of technology and operations impacting every aspect of CommBank and Bankwest – from product platforms for our customer (like Netbank and the CommBank App), to essential tools within our business (like Call Centre Technology and CommSee). We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing and use data and analytics to support the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities.

Your Responsibilities:
Reporting to a Project Management Chapter Lead in the Project Management Chapter (RBS DOT), you will be a key team member supporting the delivery of initiatives and associated organisational changes to achieve the objectives and business benefits.
Core responsibilities include:
Co-ordination of continuous delivery of change across initiatives and domain areas within DOT.
Work closely with key stakeholders, including Domain Leads, Crew Leads, Product Owners, Sponsors and Change Owners to drive the initiatives and the business organisation toward achieving the intended business results.
Manage projects and/or support the Crew Leads to achieve the objectives and business benefits
Structure team for success incorporating required skills from within the Group and sourcing resources from delivery partner organisations
Manage delivery partner organisation relationships and dependencies
Develop robust and achievable delivery plans to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables
Track and manage activities and deliverables to achieve agreed outcomes and identify and develop mitigation strategies to manage project interdependencies
Provide timely, accurate reporting for management and other project governance groups.
Ensure all initiatives meet with Group and BU risk controls and approval processes.
Provide support and guidance on delivery processes, reporting frameworks and practices
Identify, manage and track project risks and issues, providing clear visibility of detailed impacts and
Mitigations across both IT and Business.
Your Skills:
A proven track record of end-to-end delivery of concurrent, large-scale transformation projects across both IT and Business.
Experience in Agile delivery for large projects.
Ability to work well, provide leadership and make decisions under pressure.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
A strong focus on risk management.
Significant Project experience (Budget management of $1-$5 million), managing team sizes 10 or more.
Cross Functional Management in a single Business Unit
Knowledge and experience in using industry recognised project management and/or solution delivery
