We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

The QA engineer role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs while being cost-effective. If you enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
Be involved in the end-to-end software development life cycle, working together with the development team and project management team
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Continuous improvement of the testing framework, process and testing quality and efficiency
Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
Prepares test plan and test design, writes detailed, comprehensive test cases and test scripts
Execute test cases, regression tests, functional tests, and data tests
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Perform usability testing, compatibility testing for mobile and web apps
Help to troubleshoot issues, bug reporting, analysis, and tracking
Report bugs and errors and coordinate with the development team to resolve the issues
Execute follow-up tests to ensure software defects/issues are resolved.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects

REQUIRED SKILLS

3 to 4 years of proven previous work experience in software quality assurance is required
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Proactive, self-driving, and in-depth understanding of the business; capability of communicating with cross-functional teams and taking charge of a business independently
Good at teamwork, understand and adapt to changes, take results and actions as the criterion, and strive for success
Have a strong sense of responsibility, good communication, and collaboration skills, and be proactive
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases and can take the initiative to technical research
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Able to complete automated testing or performance testing independently
Familiar with API test platform
Familiarity with App (iOS, Android) test frameworks (appium, web driver agent, etc.) and web (Selenium), having Compatibility testing experience is preferred.
Knowledge in Test-Driven Development (TDD) i.e. Unit Testing experience is preferred.
Support the integration of test script with the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline is a plus
Experience with automated testing tools, performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and/or security testing is a plus
Knowledge of Robot Framework (using Python language) is a plus
