Exusia, a cutting-edge digital transformation consultancy, seeks Qlik Sense BI Tech Lead Developer/Admin to join our global delivery team’s Industry Analytics practice in India.
This position will be work from home, hence application invited from across India.
What’s the Role?
The candidate must be able to successfully communicate with internal teams as well as client personnel in order to deliver industry-leading solutions, detailed functional designs and complex environments throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. Demonstrated hands on experience with at least 2 of the below BI Technologies is mandatory – Qlik Sense, IBM Cognos, Power BI, Tableau & Looker. Exposure to Open-source BI tools and working with Hadoop HDFS file system or Data Lake is a plus
Provide consulting services to evaluate and recommend data presentation /visualization techniques
Sound knowledge of end to end BI/DW project execution in an agile methodology
Should be able to take ownership of the low level design, guide and mentor developers in development activities.
Excellent communication skills and should have the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including business users, data stewards to elicit requirements
Exposure to BFSI, Health care, Retail and Telecom domain and should be able to work with Business Analysts and data modelers
Be part of the Practice team and contribute to competency development

Requirements:

Criteria for the Role!
BE /BS or Equivalent and 8+ Years of overall experience, minimum 2 years in a BI Tech Lead role.
Should have delivered at least 2 end to end projects using the above-mentioned tools.
In depth understanding of at least 2 of the following products is mandatory
Qlik Sense Server & Desktop
IBM Cognos
Power BI / SSRS
Tableau Online & Tableau Server
Should have an understanding of the overall BI architecture and individual components of the respective product suite.
Experience in installation, configuration and administration of Qlik Sense platform including Management Console, Nodes, Sites and Storage
Hands on experience in relational as well as dimensional modeling and defining semantic layer
Building dashboards and reports against data sources like Data marts, Data lakes & Big data platforms
Experience in leveraging SQL databases for reporting purposes.
Should be well versed in writing queries, scripts and their optimization.
Exposure to cloud hosted databases like Redshift/Azure Synapse or Snowflake is a big plus
Designing OLAP Cubes / Cognos Models/Packages/PowerBI Datasets etc
Define & Implement robust Row Level & Column Level security for the data sets
Designing and developing multi-dimensional reports, Dashboards & Visualizations
Implement data drill-down and slice-and-dice requirements
Set up Report scheduling and distribution using out of box functionality or custom automation solution
Experience building custom applications for deploying on web /mobile using SDK/APIs of these BI tools
Setting up a security model by creating appropriate security roles, s Group’s with their desired privileges.
