We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Operative to join the team in Thetford

The hours of work and shift patterns are: 06.00 – 18:00, 4on 4off shift rotation

The rate of pay is: £10.00 per hour.
Main Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role will include:
Ensuring company documentation is completed correctly
Conducting, recording and verification of checks as agreed such as water quality, temperature, average weight, x-ray checks, gas checks.
Monitoring and verification of Critical Control Points and take action where necessary
Ensuring ingredients meet required specifications
Highlighting any areas of non-conformance as necessary and taking appropriate action to rectify so that products meet quality standards
Compliance with company health and safety procedures
Compliance of GMP standards, including cleaning of areas to achieve set quality standards
The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have
A commercial awareness
Knowledge and experience of Quality control
Excellent communication skills – A good standard of spoken and written English and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
A good level of computer literacy with experience of using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook
