About the Division…
Our Urgent Care Division delivers highly successful services within 111, Clinical Assessment Services, GP Out of Hours and Urgent Treatment Centres nationally. You’ll be joining our growing team at an exciting time within our fit for purpose structure.
A senior role within our Urgent Care Management team, you will have overall accountability for clinical leadership of Totally Urgent Care services within the southern region.
You will drive the delivery of excellent standards of care, a culture of patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and continuous quality improvements through the provision of strong professional leadership to our nurse and healthcare colleagues within your region.
Reporting into the Director of Nursing & Quality (Urgent Care), you will be a part of the Divisions leadership team, working in conjunction with other Divisional Senior Leaders, including the Medical Director for Urgent Care.
About you…
A registered Nurse or other non-medical registered practitioner,
Extensive experience working at a senior level,
Significant experience working at a Clinical management level within Healthcare,
Knowledge of legislation and standards of relevant healthcare regulators,
Encourages innovation to continually improve patient care and service delivery.
About the role…
Work in collaboration with the Division’s Quality Team,
Provide quality assurance for internal and external stakeholders, including commissioners, partners, and the Care Quality Commission,
Ensure Infection Prevention & Control, Safeguarding and all clinical statutory requirements are implemented and maintained,
Foster excellent collaboration between clinical and non-clinical staff.
Qualifications, Experience, Training…
A registered Nurse or other non-medical registered practitioner,
Evidence of continual professional development,
Awareness of professional codes of conduct,
Experience of project & change management,
Advanced Practice qualification at Master’s level.
