Salary:£40,000 – £45,000

Location: Gainsborough

Our client based within the manufacturing sector is looking to recruit a Reporting Accountant to the team. You will provide timely management and statutory reporting and be responsible for driving improvements in business performance. This role represents an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and experience in an organisation who firmly believe on promoting from within.

THE ROLE:

Monthly closing, preparation, review and reporting of management accounts against budgets and forecasts.
Management accounts to include; P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, KPI’s.
Statutory reporting.
Tax filing and accounting.
Contribute to reporting, forecasting and annual budget.
Management and control of the Purchase and Sales Ledger plus cash book / treasury.
Accounting, control and reporting of bad debts.
Fixed asset register management (including plates etc.).
Provision of audit information and management of External and Internal Audit process at local level.
Inventory control and valuation.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will have a high level of commercial acumen with the ability to develop positive working relations with other departments in the business. You will take a pro active approach to work, have the ability to challenge the status quo and be able to provide meaningful reporting commentary. You will have a solid background in manufacturing or FMCG and ideally be qualified. Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills are also key for this role.
