About the role

We are looking for a Data Migration Lead who is self-starter to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment that can join our Salesforce Core Team.
This is a Data Migration Lead role that is responsible for talking to different stakeholders understanding the current data model and map to Salesforce data model.
This a global role that requires partnering with the broader JLLT team at the country, regional and global level by utilizing in-depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration and data migration tools.

Communicate with other teams to understand the current data model and how things can be mapped into salesforce
Understand the different challenges and risk; highlight them early into the project
You would need to mentor and guide junior team members

Experience & Education
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
A degree from these majors are preferred:
Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Systems
Maths or other engineering disciplines
Minimum 4 years of experience in Salesforce migrations projects is required
Technical Skills & Competencies
Mandatory
Excellent technical, analytical and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
Strong knowledge of out of box Salesforce functionality and best practices around Salesforce configuration and data model.
Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, flows, and data as well as creating roles, profiles, and reports.
Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements
Experience of working within delivery teams for projects of significant size
Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle database.
Strong knowledge on various data formats such as database extracts, spreadsheets, JSON, csv etc
Integration and data migration experience with Salesforce.com (http://salesforce.com/)
Demonstrate deep understanding of Salesforce data model and migrating data into Salesforce
Good Understanding of data quality and governance tools: Informatica, Data Loader.
Demonstrate experience with sophisticated coding through ETL tools such as Informatica, Power Center or similar tool.
Strong relationship and facilitation skills both within diverse engineering and global cross-functional organizations
Open-minded with excellent interpersonal skills
Able to work well in a team and can work independently on work items
A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
Preferable:
Experience with using Informatica in data migration projects would be a plus.
Experience of migrating large data volumes to Salesforce
Good to have:
Experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modelling, and ETL tools
Admin, Advance Admin certification
