About The Opportunity
As the Salesforce Technical Architect, you will serve as the technical lead, designing and implementing technical solutions across our WeWork global Salesforce’s instance. You will be ensuring and driving technical standards across all development, CI/CD and security aspects of our global instance.
We are in the process of consolidating all of WeWork’s operations on a single global instance of Salesforce using the Sales, Service and Revenue (CPQ & Billing) and Marketing clouds. You will play a key role in bringing innovative and effective solutions to transform the ways all WeWork business functions (> 5,000 users globally) derive value from our Salesforce platform. Responsibilities
Design scalable and sustainable technical solutions alongside our technical leaders, providing detailed design documentation, proofs-of-concept, and prototypes
Serve as an integrator between the business teams, our solution architects and the technical/engineering team.
Act as Security admin and drive security architecture.
Support and inform prioritization for a team of engineers (employees and contractors)
Support the definition of the technical roadmap and standards for WeWork Global Salesforce platform. Own the engineering and implementation of key aspects of this roadmap – including Security & Sharing Model, DevOps process,
Working closely with Salesforce Platform leaders for Marketing Cloud, Sales & Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud and Integrations.
Implement Continuous Delivery & Continuous operations.
Understand Salesforce platform capabilities and product roadmap and identify, evaluate and implement relevant opportunities to improve system performance and functionality.
Partner with Product & data Engineering, InfoSec teams to ensure our global SFDC implementation is aligned with WeWork unified technology standards.
Experience
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer working in a scalable environment
1+ year of experience with Lightning development, ideally as part of a Lightning migration
Experienced performing unit testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages
Experienced in designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce.com implementations in a large enterprise environment
Recent and relevant experience in system architecture, development, and integration using Salesforce.
Proven ability to translate business needs into technological solutions.
Proven ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals and align initiatives with the overall business strategy.
Recent and relevant experience with object-oriented languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, C#, and Ruby.
Proven experience knowing when to use Lightning Process Builder vs. an Apex trigger, declarative vs. programmatic methods.
Recent and relevant experience working with Continuous Delivery & Continuation Integration tools, preferably Copado and SFDX + Circle CI.
