job Description :Role Description:
The SCCM Engineer is responsible for software distribution and patch management and deploying software packages to workstations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Creating and deploying applications with user device affinity, compliance settings, Software Center, and task sequencing.
Apply security updates and patches using SCCM to end user devices monthly.
Use SCCM Deployment for Microsoft and 3rd party patch management
Reporting on the success or failure of Application deployments.
Deploy Client Management agents and troubleshoot SCCM client issues.
Manage clients using Group Policy, WSUS, logon scripts, Client Push
Deploy packaged software to all the enterprise clients
Create automated processes for software delivery of packaged applications, software patches and operating system deployment to distribute throughout enterprise devices.
Upgrading, and support of Microsoft Windows Desktop applications and OS for enterprise customers.
Skills and Requirements.
5+ years of in-depth SCCM and desktop support knowledge.
Familiarity and understanding of Active Directory, Windows GPO (Group Policy Object), WINS, DNS (Domain Name Service), DHCP, and TCP/IP and commands.
Familiarity with packaging (App-V, Install Shield Admin Studio)
Working knowledge of: VB scripting or Windows Scripting Host, and PowerShell
Knowledge of ITIL best practices and use of issue/problem tracking systems.
Qualification:
Education qualification: B.Tech, BE or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college.
