Your role at Ausgrid
Our team is looking for an experienced Senior Analyst Developer that will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and use of a critical organisational system, web environment or suite of applications and interfacing systems
As a Senior Analyst Developer, you will also be responsible for:
Designing and developing innovative technical and process solutions to meet business requirements and resolve problems/incidents related to the system and its relationships with other systems.
Participating in (and/or managing) projects related to system, process and business improvements.
Maintaining technical currency with developing and new technologies and regulatory frameworks, and their impact on the relevant system’s environments.

What we are looking for
The successful candidate will be an experienced Technical or professional leader contributing to mid term workforce planning and have skills in Implementing operational plan or change and issue resolution across multiple employees or cross functional activities.
Experience providing subject matter expertise in the relevant system for needs analysis, options and program development in order to optimally enhance and maintain the suite of applications.
Able to ensure effective system performance through consulting with the business and performing activities to effectively maintain a sound environment such as testing, patching, upgrades, data modelling and coding.
Background in delivering effective work planning and process improvement to increase productivity from system use on an ongoing basis.
Able to provide subject matter expertise in the relevant system for needs analysis, options and program development in order to optimally enhance and maintain the suite of applications.
Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualification in computing science, IT or related discipline supported by demonstrated experience in application, web development, server development and/or system support as relevant to the role.
Key
Web development skills using Microsoft power platform, power automate, data verse, Sharepoint. Experience with web technologies – HTML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, XML, REST.
Experience in C#/.NET or Java/Spring or similar web technologies
Unit testing / system testing application components
Experience in standard code management (Git preferred) and software life cycle maintenance practices
Proven ability to present data and manipulate, convert and report on system information.
Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
Established interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Recognised analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Highly evident communication skills both written and oral with a focus for gathering business requirements for effective service delivery.
Self-motivated and self-learner
Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Desirable
Not mandatory but will be beneficial:-
Azure services (Azure Logic apps, Azure functions, blob storage) used for developing / deploying web app and Java services
Application security in Azure environment – Authentication / authorisation, TLS, managed identity, Key Vault.
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
Application testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
Experience supporting document management systems such as HPRM, Asdeqdocs
Desirable:-
Azure DevOps
