Summary:
SAP Business Network (SBN) is the global leader in business commerce network, supporting more than $1 Trillion in yearly trade between 2 million connected companies. Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration is a key product within SAP business Network and is key in transforming the way the companies collaborate with their Training partners be it Supplier, Carriers, logistics providers and Service Providers.
The Business Network Integration Consultant (BI) is accountable for driving customer’s integrations to the SAP Business Network (Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration) and automating Supply Chain processes with their trading partners.
The BI serves as the SAP Business network expert consulting buyer and their Trading partners on integrating to the Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration solution. BI provides consultancy on best usage practices and provide roadmap to the customer that impact the customer’s success.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Articulate and present Ariba’s Supply chain Collaboration capabilities and value verbally, in writing, and via presentations to customers and their support/implementation teams.
Consult customers on integration best practices and recommended processes.
Lead and facilitate customer integration sessions to identify and document customer requirements.
Advise customers on creative and flexible solutions to speed up integration and ultimately transactions to drive their business.
Implement basic project management methodology on projects engaged on (regular calls, status & issues tracking)
Coordinate and manage testing process with customer from engagement to deployment
Assist in resolving issues related to the exchange of electronic documents via the SAP Business Network
Lead and influence resources that impact success. Including management of and delegating tasks to resolve issues to other teams/individuals when necessary
Influence the product evolution by proposing enhancements to the solution, based on customer’s feedbacks.
Perform any necessary setup and customizations on SAP Business Network for the customer
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 10-13 years’ experience in IT technical consulting.
Strong integration and technical Debugging skills (ABAP, Job setup, Log’s and XML monitoring) and working knowledge on SAP MM / PM modules.
Basic understanding of Procure to Pay processes with understandings of B2B and EDI solutions.
Experience with XML and EDI related data format like CXML, XCBL and with standard communication protocols of business documents (AS2, HTTPS (MIME), and SOAP)
Understanding of Basic project management methodology (Agile, Scrum and waterfall) with a focus on organizational change preferred
Consulting with Customer facing experience and is comfortable delivering presentations on project related work to team members, management, and customers.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with project stakeholders (internal & external), both verbally and in writing.
Open for up to 50% travel locally and internationally as required.
Flexibility to adjust regular business hours to the needs of global customers.
Preferred Skills:
Specific experience with SAP Integration solutions (NetWeaver, PI/PO, HCI I-Docs, SOA Manager Etc.) is preferred.
Understanding of Supply Chain Processes within any industry (Mining, Automobile, manufacturing, Retail etc.) is highly preferred.
Understanding of purchasing and accounting flows/data translation within any ERP systems.
Ability to adapt and navigate in an international and multicultural environment.
Driven individual that challenges internal stakeholders and external customers to provide timely follow up to improve cycle times.
SAP MM, SCM and SAP PI certifications are preferred.
