An innovative start-up Fintech company that empowers people to improve their financial health is looking for a hands-on Senior Data Scientist with an out-of-the box mindset and is keen to disrupt the current financial consumer market.

About the role:
You will be part of the Engineering team and help establish an analytics and data science function.
You will be working very closely with the CTO to embed the data science and analytics function within engineering and the wider business.
Review and make overall assessment of data sources (structured/unstructured), while performing statistical analysis for the wider business. You will be managing a pipeline of data driven hypotheses about the business, which you then research and analyse independently.
You directly influence the development of complex features such as personalisation, recommendations, or grouping of data to improve the overall quality of our app.

We are looking at hiring someone that is looking forward to collaborating with software engineers and excited about shipping production quality predictive models with low latency at inference time.

Requirements:
Computer science degree, or equivalent technical or engineering related qualification.
You have 5+ years combined experience as a senior data scientist, ideally in a Fintech or fast-paced startup environment where you have shipped algorithms to production
Experience in personalisation and sorting algorithms is highly desirable.
