Job Description : Tasks
Application of software quality assurance activities for projects, that includes planning and monitoring of quality activities, Identify & communicate gaps and non-conformances and track non-conformances resolution to closure
Ensure planned reviews are carried out by the project team
Ensure software development process and work products adhere to Continental’s development process and Customer Specific Process if any
Reporting of Quality Activities and metrics to stakeholders periodically
Escalation of risks/issues to relevant stakeholders as per defined strategy
Guide the team through coaching
Represent the discipline quality towards the customer
Qualifications
Degree / Masters in Computer Science / Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in development in Software discipline or 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
Good understanding of Software development life cycle and development methodologies
Good written and oral communication skills
Experience in Software quality assurance activities
Experience in conducting Software audits/process compliance checks
Customer-oriented, able to learn independently and work systematically under tight schedules
Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
Ability to solve problems creatively; fluent in use of problem-solving tools
Willing to travel overseas for training and/or projects on short notice
Knowledge of standards and process models (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, CMMI, etc.) and Functional Safety Management and Security
Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
