We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Project Manager.
In this role, you will:
Work with Product Owners and support DevOps teams on a day to day basis, being responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement of a discrete set of products or business services through the creation and management of epics, backlog management and prioritisation across teams
Be accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by teams adhere to the relevant prevailing data standards and data controls
Work with the Product Owner & team to ensure that the lead-time to deploy changes is continuously improving and benchmarks appropriately across other functions within the DevOps team
Work with the Product Owner & team to ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams
Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered
Undertake team management and some budget responsibilities
Work closely with architects to define a strategy and execute on a delivery plan
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Have experience in delivering large scale projects/programs in a timely and consistent manner through adopting DevOps and Agile methodology while adhering to required standards/controls
Should be well versed with analytics and/or data platforms technology, including infrastructure
Will help to deliver the strategy to move the service(s) from on-premise data centres into external cloud, so a good understanding and some experience/exposure to external cloud is essential
Good written and verbal communication (including presentation) as well as interpersonal skills are essential
Experience in performance management as well as hiring (perms, contractors, renewals) to handle expansion/building of teams
Having any experience as an IT Service Owner would be beneficial although not a must
Prior experience or exposure on Python, Hadoop would also be helpful

Requirements
