Job Description : Responsibilities:
Test: work closely with partners within our product development team to antagonistically test Crediwatch software and identify issues with new products and features
Build: ensure products are high-quality by developing, maintaining and executing automated tests, and communicating with the team execution reports, issues, risk, and product quality
Problem-Solve: knowledge of problem resolution techniques and processes
Mitigate Risk: Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimise risk
Partner: educate Engineering and Product on testing and QA; partner with teams to determine product quality goals and measurement
Requirements:
B. Tech/ M. Tech/ MCA in Computer Science or equivalent in 4+ years of experience
Experienced in developing automation (UI & API) tests using existing framework or building frameworks from scratch
• Experienced working on automation technology such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Jest, Jasmine, Appium • Hands on coding experience with languages like Python (preferred) & Javascript
Great understanding of Web/HTTP debugging tools such as Charles Proxy, Firebug, Chrome & Safari Consoles plus REST API like REST client, REST Frameworks (e. g. Requests, Fast API), SoapUI, and Postman
Experienced with Server-Side Testing, service-oriented architectures or micro-services, algorithmic testing experience, data processing or systems integration testing
Experienced in setting CI/CD Jenkins or Kubernetes pipelines to run automated tests
Familiar with basic Linux commands and server-side testing.
Proficient in SQL & NoSQL databases: selects, joins, inserts and updates
Have a deep understanding of the software development process (e. g. planning, designing, implementing, testing, documenting, deployment, maintenance)
• Collaborate and work effectively across a globally distributed team on fast-moving projects • Ability to develop well maintained and reusable code
• You partner with engineering to triage inbound bug reports and reproduce reported issues • Have good debugging skills, analysing logs to debug errors
Ability in management tool such as JIRA plus a deep experience with examining application logs, console logs and server logs to debug errors
You are self-motivated and keen to learn new technologies
Good to Have:
Experienced in designing & executing load/stress and performance testing
Experience in Security testing
Experience of working in a start-up environment is a plus
