About the opportunity
Ellucian Experience is our exciting new product that connects higher education users to timely, actionable information. Its robust software development toolkit simplifies feature expansion by internal teams, client campuses, and Ellucian partners. We are looking for an innovative Senior Software Developer to join our R&D organization to be part of this vision.
Where you will make an impact
You will participate in the design, development, and delivery of new solutions for the next generation of Higher Education products
You will provide technical leadership in the analysis and review of proposed system features and integration, security, scalability, and performance requirements
You will incorporate industry best practices and influence team standards to enhance maintainability and extensibility
Actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand ups, refinement, sprint reviews, planning, retrospectives)
What you will bring
5+ years experience developing applications in a software product company
Solid hands-on extensive experience of UI Layer – ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Jest
Experience developing applications using NodeJS in a software product company
Hands-on experience with cloud tools, services, and technologies (preferably AWS)
Working knowledge of GIT and collaborative development practices (e.g., pull requests, feature branches)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
Solid fundamentals on Object-Oriented Design, Patterns and Data Structures
Hands-on experience with the development of highly available, scalable enterprise systems.
Independent and self-motivated
Ability to work within tight deadlines and delivering in a challenging environment
B.E / B.Tech or equivalent Degree in Computer Science
