You will be responsible for working as part of an Agile Scrum team to develop technologically advanced data analytics applications for the Mining industry. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining fleet management solutions for the Mining industry. The ideal candidate will have the vision and skills to develop enterprise software for complex requirements. Responsibilities:
Work autonomously, but also align with the dynamic global team from Brazil, USA and Australia.
Design, code and debug both existing and new desktop and web applications to provide high end fleet management solutions for Mining customers
Work with UI/UX Designer to perfect interface aesthetics
Keep up to date with latest web and backend technologies
Support integration of existing desktop applications with web technologies
Align with the objectives of Geosystems division of HCCI
Participate in code reviews to improve code quality
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Skills Required:
What You’ll Need
2+ yrs. of experience in backend development
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
Strong experience in software development that uses object oriented programming in C++ in Linux environment
Experience with CMake
Experience with any unit test framework
Good code reading skills
Excellent time management, problem solving, and analytical abilities
Capable of writing efficient SQL queries with PostgreSQL database
Experience with GIT and Jira/Confluence
What Would Be Nice
Experience in C#, .NET Core and WPF
Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby/Python
Experience in Objective-C
Experience with CAN, RPC, MQTT protocols
