What we’re looking for:
You are a seasoned software engineer who is or has, designed, developed and has debugged complex software applications. You have working knowledge in web service based technologies and have experience in Apache Spark and Kafka.
Position Overview
You will lead, design, develop, troubleshoot, test and debug complex applications, demonstrating for others how to resolve issues in innovative and practical ways. The role works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable and obscure factors, applying good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions; takes initiative in planning and prioritization of design and development activities to resolve a wide range of issues; interacts with senior internal and external personnel; and may act as a technical lead on complex projects.

Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading, designing and developing features which are highly scalable working with various stakeholder across different geo.
Will review and approve code check-in that is made on the assigned/owned projects.
You will plan, organize and perform the technical work within area of specialization , review and suggest improvements on other technology areas, as well.
Will works in concert with others toward shared goals
Will analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach to solve problems central to an assigned research or programming project.
You will write and conduct Automated/manual functional & system tests to verify the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of developed or enhanced software
Will coordinate own development activities on routine work and cooperate with other programmers and scrum team members on technical aspects related to the project

Basic Qualifications
You have a Full time Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Engineering
Have at least 6+ years of Product Development experience
Have expertise in Scala, Python, C# or other object oriented & functional programming languages.
You have hands-on experience with web service based technologies
You have experience in Apache Spark and Kafka.
Have hands-on Experience on SQL/ NoSQL DBs
Have experience with ML toolkits
You possess detailed knowledge of cloud-based data warehouses, architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments.
Have experience architecting/developing modern multi-tenant cloud based Micro services.
You have experience with source code controlled environments like GIT

Preferred Qualifications
You have hands-on experience with at-least one of the Cloud service platform Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS
You have Built HTTP/RESTful web service APIs, JSON, Web2.0 technologies with CI/CD practices
Have experience in using Static Code Analysis tools (SonarQube) and addressing Security Vulnerabilities.
Have experience in having designed, developed and shipped a product from scratch
Have working knowledge of Test driven development
You have hands-on experience of web based framework design and ability to develop reusable code.
You are conversant with PowerShell
