We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer
Job Profile:
In this role, you will:
Responsible for handling support tickets and providing resolution within SLA
Responsible for maintaining Tableau application server running 24×7
Responsible for handling new developments as well as enhancements for existing dashboards.
Responsible for managing and administrating various Sites on Tableau Server.
Responsible for Server administration and performing regular maintenance activity.
Work with Business users to understand reporting requirement and provide optimal solution
Document design and development efforts and maintain versioning for code scripts.
Experience using the different operating system and web browsers
Install and configure the development, test, UAT and production environments on various platforms
Experience with a multi-server installation of Tableau later versions (2018.x and above)
Experience in upgrading and/or patching of the Tableau tool
Thorough understanding of the Tableau Security and experience with a successful implementation
Experience with implementing SSL within Tableau
Perform backup, upgrades, and troubleshoot by understanding the various log messages
Able to troubleshoot issues within Tableau BI Environment
Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for Tableau applications
Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures
Proven ability in looking at solutions in unconventional ways and the ability to innovate
Knowledge in Upgrading Tableau to newer versions
Monitor the Tableau environment and check the usage of the environment, reports, etc.
Conduct technical training
Provide and evolve best practices across the SDLC/Agile.
Evaluate current practices and suggest enhancement and Automate manual reports
Own estimation and measure accuracy
Influence business by providing new solutions, alternative/optimal paths etc, as necessary.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
6 to 8 years relevant work experience on Tableau Admin Role along with Linux server
Experience in setting up Cloud VMs
Experience on developing CICD pipeline for infra rebuild
Experience on setting up Tableau on Google Cloud or any other Cloud Platforms
Expert knowledge on writing automation scripting through Ansible and Teraform, Shell Scripting.
Knowledge in developing Stackdriver dashboards
Linux/Windows skills preferred
