Join the rapidly growing Public Cloud Services team, delivering a portfolio of offerings that helps customers harness the power of public, hybrid, multi-cloud, and NetApp data fabric solutions.
As part of the product engineering function, we are looking for experienced engineering manager who has the passion for leading the team building web-based products and solutions around cloud, storage and microservices architecture.

We are looking for an engineering leader who can lead and mentor the team and drive the successful project outcomes.

Job Requirements
Experienced in leading agile engineering teams for SaaS based products and solutions around cloud, storage and microservices architecture
Engineering and operations manager with demonstrated abilities to build, lead, and retain high energetic, dynamic teams
Work closely with the Product management and other internal teams in driving the requirements, prioritization, to actual implementations and ability to handle multiple releases
Experienced in architecting and building the solution from the design board to the actual implementation adhering to the best practices around SDLC.
Strong technical skills around NodeJS, Fastify, React JS, Redux and SQL
Deep understanding of client-side development, coding in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6
Handling services, RESTful, APIs, Dockers & Containers, Kubernetes
Hands on experience working with various third party libraries (Cloud SDK/APIs etc.)
Public cloud experience such as AWS, Azure or GCP and overall understanding of the IT domain
Drive mature engineering process & practices (JIRA, CI/CD, secure coding & compliance, log visualization & testing)
Aggressive problem diagnosis, solving and customer support skills
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Work collaboratively within a team & global environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
Prefer those who have sound understanding and experience around storage domain
Able to handle staffing, third party vendor management, budgeting and performance management

Responsibility and Interaction

To lead the team, implement the product/solution as an lead contributor/team mentor
To work with a cross-functional software development team on highly visible strategic projects
Produce well designed efficient code in a timely manner and meet delivery timescales/milestones.
Proactively stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, manage priorities and communicate progress effectively.
There may be communication with employees in other functions within/across the business unit as required
Education

Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience is required; with a Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

minimum of 3 to 5years of people management experience in leading high performance software engineering teams
