Job Description : About the Role

This position is primarily responsible for NAS provisioning of Storage & Backup solutions. This role demands majority of working /supporting during India rotational shifts wherein candidate needs to coordinate & collaborate with WFIP and US business partners and stake holders.

Responsibilities
8+ years of experience primarily NAS technology with NetApp cod, Oracle ZFS,HCP/HDI.
The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Storage Management and Storage best practices.
Knowledge and understanding of NAS replication and backups including design, configuration and implementation.
Good knowledge and hands-on on Unix administration.
Performing day to day task of creating NAS CIFS/NFS shares, granting permissions, configuring multiprotocol etc.
Reclaiming and volume deletion of shares through changes on production/non-production environment.
Working experience doing NAS migration and replication configuration on NetApp cDot and Oracle ZFS.
Experience on deployment of storage infrastructure, storage allocation/deallocation and configurations.
Expertise in handling replication NetApp cDot, Oracle ZFS,HCP/HDI as part of NAS solution.
Create, configure manage CIFS,NFS, multiprotocol shares, quotas, groups and permissions.
Expertise in troubleshooting enterprise storage configuration.
Expertise in working with system admin to resolve/troubleshoot any permission/connectivity issues.
Knowledge and understanding of disaster recovery methodologies and best practices.
Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes.
Good to have experience on PowerCli/Ansible to automate day to day manual tasks.
Ability to actively engage in detailed discussions with the stakeholders to develop solutions for our customers’ needs.
Should be capable of preparing documentation of a very high standard; High level of analytical, diagnostic, and problem solving skills.
Good self-management, risk management, and decision making skills.
Resilient with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
Work with team to plan Shift/on-call, handle staff meeting & discussion, able to resolve team issues/challenges.
Working ITIL knowledge of incident, problem and change management with adherence towards process framework.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven track record of client/partner engagement.
Essential Qualifications
Total 8+ years of experience in primarily in NAS(Netapp cDOT, Oracle ZFS,HCP/HDI), Unix administration.
Strong working on knowledge Netapp cDOT, Oracle ZFS,HCP/HDI
Working ITIL knowledge of incident, problem and change management with adherence towards process framework.
Desired Qualification
Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven track record of client/partner engagement.
Ability to work independently and as a team, with applied logical and problem solving skills.
Good to have SAN and Backup as secondary skill sets.
