Developer with good exposure in ETL designing, modifying, testing & implementing data warehouse and all related ETL functions
About The Responsibility
Excellent working experience on ETL tools like Talend, and Informatica. Working experience on Talend is mustDetermines the optimal approach for obtaining data from diverse source system platforms and moving it to the data analytics environmentDevelop procedures for data management. Creates procedures for developing and maintaining metadata and data mapping documentsGood understanding of ETL process includes data extraction, cleansing, aggregation, reorganization, transformation, calculation, and loading of dataExperience in using Filters, Routers, Lookups (Connected and Unconnected), Expressions, Update Strategy, Union Transformation, Aggregator and Sorter Transformations.Tuning the Mappings for Optimum Performance, Dependencies and Batch Design.Experience Reverse Engineering of source data for mapping to Data Warehouse.Experience working with heterogeneous data systems (Informix, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, XML, Json, flat file, etc.)Write database procedures, functions and triggers using PLPG/SQLHaving understanding of the Data modelingPerform problem assessment, resolution and documentation of ETL mapping and workflows.Designing and building complete ETL processes and troubleshooting data-related issuesMigrate mappings, sessions, and common objects from development to test and to production.Experience in implementing ETL Security techniquesConversant with Unix/Linux shell scripting for batch processing
