BMTX is seeking a motivated and results-driven SVP/People to be part of the leadership team, be a trusted advisor and provide strategic vision and leadership in directing the organization’s Human Resource functions including; talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, Team Member engagement, training, development, total rewards, succession planning and culture initiative. As a solutions-oriented change leader with influencing capability, the SVP/People must develop and align the people strategy with the business strategy. This role will act as the architect for the company’s talent strategy and corporate-culture initiatives. Overall, the SVP/People will be the organizational and cultural force who charts the path of how our company should be organized, grow and scale.
To be successful in this role you should possess the following abilities:
Lead the company’s efforts to create, implement, and integrate a leadership and employee behaviors framework. Lead collaborative efforts across the People function to integrate behaviors into the full employee life cycle, from TA & onboarding to development, engagement, and retention.
Develop and implement a phased, multi-year talent strategy, reflecting organizational capacity and growth over the next 1-3 years.
As a diversely talented company, unlocking our team’s potential means creating plans with each executive to maximize the growth of their direct reports. These programs include, but are not limited to training, mentorship, and new role development.
Mentor, and grow the People team to support the organizational growth.
Develop and implement people strategies which enable the organization to attract, retain, develop, and motivate a highly skilled and productive workforce.
Develop career matrixes that will grow internal pathways for employees.
Implement comprehensive compensation plans that are competitive and cost effective.
Implement key performance indicators, metrics, monitoring, and reporting to effectively benchmark organizational progress in key areas of HR, including but not limited to retention, engagement, and DEI.
Manage benefit and payroll compliance and accuracy.
Conduct executive coaching and leadership training.
Ensure oversight and compliance with SOX regulations, such as recordkeeping and payroll accounting accuracy.
Assume responsibility of complex labor and employee relations.

Qualifications:
Required Experience/ Qualifications:

Active HRIC and/or SHRM certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
Master’s degree in Business.
Minimum of 10+ years progressively responsible leadership experience with a strong understanding and demonstrated application of Human Resources including the ethical, legal, compliance considerations in a publicly traded company; additional experience managing a team.
Comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance with applicable federal and state laws.
Knowledge and experience with change management in a growing, publicly traded company.
Track record of building successful programs, consensus, and comfortable having both strategic and tactical responsibilities
Knowledge and proven experience with HR systems, design, analysis, software, and reporting.
Significant experience leading mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills that are ethical, flexible, nimble, and able to deal with ambiguity.
Capable of influencing others and offering insights on people, culture, and business strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective management and leadership skills, a strong customer service focus, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity.
Proven track record with employee development, organization design, and performance management in a fast paced, high growth environment
