Job Description : Schlam is growing and we have several Serviceperson positions available right now to work on industry leading mine sites across the Pilbara, conducting servicing and maintenance on all heavy mining equipment!

Are you an experienced Serviceperson with mine site on all forms of heavy mobile plant equipment? Especially Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr.

About you:

At Schlam our priority is to employ people who will represent us with the right attitude, reliability, commitment to safety, and the drive and motivation to help us achieve as a team.

HR Drivers Licence (essential)
Experience servicing heavy mining equipment within a mining environment
High Risk Work Licence – Forklift, EWP (preferred)
Working at Heights (within 3 years)
National Police Check
High mechanical aptitude and competent fitting skills
Able to Pass Pre-Employment Medical

As a key member of our mechanical team, you will be responsible for:

Monitoring plant and equipment conditions to ensure correct function and diagnose faulty mechanics
Completing plant and equipment pre-starts
Ensuring the service vehicle is stocked correct levels of oil/grease/fuel
Identifying and report any oil/fuel leaks
Hazard identification and Risk assessments
