Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a software engineer (Analytic) who will be focused on enhancing the current features of our platform and offerings, building new features to meet business requirements, and participating in collaboration meetings where concepts for new features begin. You will work closely with other team members on technical issues and complex problems and take ownership of application development and design.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
BA/BS in computer science or directly related field or equivalent experienceKnowledge on visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau, Power BI preferred) and Power BI datasets, Power BI reports, dashboards, to deliver maximum report performanceAble to create interactive reports, dashboards, DAX using Power BI Desktop/Server/Power PlatformKnowledge of Python/Scala/Java/SQLKnowledge of data pipeline/workflow management tools like ML-Flow, AirFlowKnowledge of Software Engineering best practices with understanding of implementing CI/CD, Log aggregation/Monitoring/alerting for production systemHigh level understanding of data science conceptsCloud exposure of Azure data and analytics stack an added advantage
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Familiar with virtualization technology or container technology (e.g. VMWare, Kubernetes, Docker, Red Hat OpenShift)Intermediate or expert understanding client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS, AngularJS and ReactJSFamiliar with Agile developmentFamiliar with the CI/CD tools and processesProduct development experienceExperience on AWSExperience in working on RDBMS and NoSQL databasesUnderstanding of big data ecosystem, Hadoop, Spark, HiveUnderstanding of stream processing with knowledge on Kafka
