Overview

Bykea is a Pakistan based app offering motorbike transport, deliveries, commerce and payment matchmaking services on its marketplace platform. Over 2 million registered users drive utility from Bykea in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.

Position Specific Overview:

We are looking for a professional who can help maintain and develop Big Data Solutions to accelerate analytics and operational capacity of the organization.
Job Role – This position will be tasked with these main objectives:

At least 2 – 4 years of experience in Data Architecture Systems.

Hands On experience Apache Spark and Apache Hadoop.
Have experience in one or more development languages like Scala (preferred), Python.
Have the ability to start projects from the ground up.
Designing Data Pipeline Architectures.
Plan and Develop Solutions for Big Data Systems.
Identify and Gather Data from required Data Sources.

Requirements – What you roughly look like as a professional:

Experience & Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or related degree
Prior experience in required skills
Skill set:
Hands On experience on BigQuery, SQL based Database systems
Hands On experience with Python.
Hands-on experience with Scala.
Have Machine Learning Knowledge.
