Experience with Swift / iOS development experience
JS, C, C++ or Go with experience in concurrent programming
Experience with WebRTC frameworks such as PION, LiveKit, Janus, Jitsi, AWS Chime or similar open or closed source frameworks
In-depth understanding of streaming media or real-time communication protocols, Network Protocols (HTTP, WebSockets)
Passionate about developing SDKs, designing APIs, and delivering an excellent developer experience
Knowledge of media codecs, compression techniques, and media containers
Understanding of cloud-native and VPC architectures
Experience in large enterprise & global engineering, development and support
You are committed to customer experience
Passion for relationships and communicating effectively
Tenacity (when trouble-shooting a tricky issue, you won’t give up!)
Creative, dedicated and get things done.

Description
The successful applicant will have a strong technical background in Creating Real Time Communication framework, be committed to customer experience, be a strong leader and advocate for the global team, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. No day at Apple is the same, but key responsibilities for the role include: – Design and develop real-time audio / video communication and streaming libraries for iOS & web. – Implementing web based services for real-time communication protocols. – Design the interfaces necessary to communicate between the media framework and web-based clients . – Keeping up-to-date with WebRTC and related technologies, protocols, and standards – Advance your expertise in API design, C++ and mobile development – Proactively monitor performance & system health through operational tooling – Unique opportunity to develop and implement technology vision; create direction partnering with business. – Exceptional opportunity to lead and work with global engineers. – Deliver artifacts, technical alternatives and architectural designs that meet business requirements.
