Job Description : As a Senior Database Platform Engineer, you will be a recognized SME in Oracle Database technologies, having a proven track record in development, operations, administration and engineering. Responsible for the design, development, testing, integration, operation and support infrastructure services that meet stated business requirements and adhere to coding best practices and architecture standards. Adheres to architectural design standards, risk management and security policies, data management policies, leading presentations in architecture review, strategic technology directions, best practice development (e.g., estimating models), mentoring less experienced team members and conduct peer code reviews. Supports all elements of Software Development Lifecycle. Participates in the development of integration elements, data models, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 10+ years’ experience on various multi-Terabyte, 24×7 uptime Oracle databases as a n Oracle Database Engineer
Strong experience working with Oracle versions 11gR/2 and 19c in a UNIX environment.
Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels).
Strong programming experience in PL/SQL
Hands-on Object Oriented Software Development experience using Python , Python Web Framework, J2EE to architect, design ,develop and implement large applications for Oracle databases
Expert in REST API Services using Flask, Django
Experience in web programming and experience in building web-based applications
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Hands-on Experience with Relational database technologies(Oracle,MySQL) and no-sql database technologies
Strong Linux skills
Deep hands-on experience in API design & development database query/ingestion/Data Security using Python
Experienced in Microservices
Strong Mathematical , Analytics skills to design,develop,build and configure Python based complex data Extraction,Processing analysis & reporting solutions
Experience in data mining, data processing, data modeling and data visualization (Tableau,Alteryx, etc.)
Continuous integration and deployment (CICD) with tools such as Jenkins ,GIT,JIRA,Cucumber
Working with Terabyte scale Data Warehouses
Demonstrated ability to drive Agile development and implement automated process to improve database system reliability.
Direct experience in working within the database administration teams for large-scale enterprise that are highly scalable and reliable.
Technical acumen in implementation and support of the core database services that are highly reliable, flexible, scalable and cost effective.
Self-starter capability, ability to acquire new skills autonomously.
Demonstrably solid written and verbal communication skills to drive projects to successful conclusion.
