Job Description : Responsibilities
A Senior Software Engineer delivers features for a Product in a business chain and as member of a Feature Team, he/she works in autonomy and in a continuous improvement approach.
Person should work on all below activities related to the software development
Guarantee best practice and quality of the code of the whole team.
Organize and optimize/industrialize the process of development.
Propose technical solutions.
Participate to the construction of the technical infrastructure when needed.
Ensures a technological watch and demonstrates an interest for the Compliance business
Work in a team with agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, pair programming, etc.)
Collaborate with POs and Business Analysts in the user requirements division (Epics) in user’s stories
Participate in the development of the technical culture of the feature team (craftsmanship, pairing, review, etc.).
Profile required
Require 3 to 6 yrs experience on Java.Deep expertise and hands on experience in Core javaHands-on experience with at least 2 years in Spring and Hibernate technologies.Hands-on experience with at least 3 years in GUI development using JSP, HTML & JavaScript. Added advantage if worked on AngularJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap, jQuery.Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process Oriented. Would be great if worked on Agile or Continuous Delivery (CD) based projects before.Good fundamentals in Core Programming, JDBC, Object Oriented design & Design patternsShould have exposure to Oracle SQL. Any other DB apart from Oracle is also fine, provided the fundamentals of RDBMS are clear. Good to have experience in writing Sqls, stored procedures and functions.Experience in creating & executing unit tests using test driven approach with JUnit or any other equivalent.Good to have exposure in Spring Boot/ MicroservicesGood to have exposure to Investment banking domain.
