Introduction:
Oversee the administrative and secretarial support services to the Global Fab Engineering Services (GFES) team at GF India, Bangalore (BLR) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Job Responsibilities
Work as Admin of GFES BLR/US Head to manage the calendar, meetings, and travel
Help to coordinate and schedule meetings with BLR and Fab members
Hiring and onboarding of new employees:
Maintain the hiring sheet and follow up with HR teams on hiring status
Connect periodically with offered candidates to keep them interested
Work with hiring managers and HR teams for smooth onboarding
Submit various IT requests for the new hires
Maintain onboarding checklist for every new hire and follow-up for closure
Training and engagement:
Maintain training checklist for new hires
Track mandatory training and certification
Support team activities like work anniversaries and birthday celebration and social events or team building activities
Support in tracking and preparation of routine reports like hiring ramp, org chart, team demographics, technical KPI, team meeting deck etc
24×7 shift operations logistics support in shift tracking, transportation coordination, shift allowance tracking etc
Travel support for BLR to Fab and Fab to BLR visits in areas like travel request submission, travel arrangements including flight, hotel, corporate credit card etc
Help employees and new hires in returning to work with resources like housing options near workplace, useful information about settling in BLR, connecting with other employees looking for housing or roommates, support with reimbursement process etc
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in business administration or relevant majors
Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar job capacity
Good interpersonal and communication skills with staff at different levels
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Kannada
Good organizational and managerial skills
Proficient with the Microsoft suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar job capacity
Experience in a high-tech environment is preferred
Industry experience in handling administrative and company confidential information
