In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing the design, development, configuration, deployment and assisting as needed with the ongoing maintenance of one or more large-scale Peoplesoft global projects – with a focus on the self-service. As a member of the HR IT development team, you will • Interface with Application Support team managing bug / fix and minor enhancement requests. Engaged in the design – prepare technical design specification from functional specifications.

You will have the opportunity to work across multiple projects and share your knowledge and insights and be part of cutting-edge technology innovations.
Job Activities
Support HRIT strategy in the delivery of Self-Service functionality based on business needs and effectively collaborate across IT for a successful delivery
Develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems.
Effectively communicate the project status, issues, risks in a timely manner to various stakeholders
Work closely with business customers of various HR functions and IT team for a successful delivery.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Learn new modules quickly apart from areas of expertise and scale up to the needs of business.
Provide guidance and recommendations on how to best leverage the latest technology and processes across the enterprise.
Explore opportunities to improve current processes to make it business driven thru automation, process standardizations etc.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or specialized training or equivalent work experience
PeopleSoft techno-functional experience of 3+ years
6+ years of experience as a Software Developer in a technology company
Oracle HCM knowledge and experience
Experience in a move from PeopleSoft to Oracle HCM.
PeopleSoft Portal Technology – Portal Templates, Pagelets, Portal Registry, Navigation Collections, PeopleSoft Interaction Hub, Integration Broker
PeopleSoft 9.1 Experience – Application Developer, SQL / SQR, Application Engine, People Tools, People Code, Process Scheduler
Open to thinking out of the box, innovative, and be open to learn new technologies.
Be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology

PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade Experience
Experience with three or more: JavaScript, NodeJS, SQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, XML and XSL
Exceptional and demonstrable problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
Proficient knowledge in PeopleSoft Query, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills and a clear understanding of ERP, HR Systems, and business concepts
Exposure to understanding HR functional/technical Requirements and converting the same to best practice business solutions, implementing it and effectively tracking it to closure.
Ability to proactively identify issues and drive resolution
Ability to translate raw data into meaningful information
Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
Ability to use analytics and data to make informed decisions
Effective communicator and strong presentation skills essential.
Experience working in a matrix organization and ability to coordinate action from groups outside of direct reporting lines to resolve issues.
