The Opportunity:
An OpenText Professional Services TeamSite/LiveSite Consultant is responsible for the technical delivery of the TeamSite solution. Such delivery activities encompass the design, development, testing and documentation of specific software components – either providing extensions to specific items of core product functionality or implementing specific system integration components. This role has a heavy development emphasis, combined with the consultative skills required to promote the impression of quality and excellence actively fostered within the Offshore Professional Services team.

Technical Consultants are expected to have the ability to work with a fair degree of autonomy, under the supervision and mentoring of more experienced consultants within the offshore team. It is not uncommon for a sufficiently experienced technical consultant to interact alone with a given customer, and manage appropriate technical customer relationships for the duration of a project
You are great at:
Work within an OpenText technical delivery team in order to:
Participate in the development of custom TeamSite implementation, in line with project and customer time scales.
Participate in the advanced configuration of TeamSite software components, in line with project and customer time scales.
Deliver a range of technical documentation relating to any software components delivered.
Interact with both customer and internal OpenText project stakeholders in order to articulate specific technical options and decisions in a concise and clear manner.
Communicate effectively in English, in writing and verbally.
Work independently without supervision.
Demonstrate a passion for technology and willingness to learn new technologies.
What it takes:
Overall 6-8 years in IT, Experience in TeamSite/LiveSite 3-4 years
Good programming experience on
TeamSite SitePublisher pages, components, templates
TeamSite eStudio pages, eStudio templates
TeamSite Personalization and Targeting
TeamSite Externals, controllers
TeamSite Form API, and Formspublisher API
Workflow Modeller for creating the workflows
OpenDeploy configuration for multi-tier deployment
Creating the branches, workareas and assigning the group pre privileges etc
User Management modules like creating the users and groups
TeamSite kernel modules, iw-webd, iw-authnd,
Good knowledge of the following technologies:
J2EE technologies such as Servlets, AJAX, Angularjs, XSLT , JSP, JNDI.
HTML5, CSS, Javascript and JQuery
Spring Batch, Rest API, XML, JSON
SQL – either Oracle or SQL Server specific knowledge preferable.
XML related technologies and frameworks
HTTP and related protocols.
JBoss, Wildfly, TomEE, Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Apache servers
Windows Server, Solaris, HP UX, Linux (any one)
Good knowledge in using Tools like ANT, Log4J, SVN ,Maven Gradle, butbucket , Jenkins pipeline, JIRA and Junit
Ability to build and manage strong customer relationships, both internal and external
Ability to use own initiative to resolve problems and to obtain relevant information needed to perform a given task
Good in Communication and Highly motivated
Team player, result driven, ambitious, responsible
Ability and willingness to travel India and globally
Share knowledge with colleagues and in the wider Open Text and Partner community.
