Job Description –
Analytic Consulting- Lead Consultant
FICO is looking for a Lead Consultant for a JavaScript Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
Role-
The Analytics team at FICO’s Global Analytics Delivery in Bangalore provides consulting services to leading banks and financial institutions across Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and Americas. The team works on a wide variety of projects across optimization, scorecard and strategy development, and regulatory compliance using the latest tools & techniques.
The role involves working closely with clients and internal analytics and optimization teams to deliver high quality, end-to-end analytical solutions that create strong business impact.
Responsibilities-
Design and building frameworks for analytics solution to deliver end-to-end solution.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Implementing visuals such as interactive charts, tables, pivots, maps etc. in form of re-usable codes/packages
Work both front-end (extensively) and back-end (limited) web development techniques
Customizing or adapting standardized frameworks to specific client requirements including database design and visualization components
Provide consulting support to customers for interpretation and effective usage of optimization models and decision rules
Work simultaneously on a number of different projects of varying complexity and length
Proactively manage effort to increase client satisfaction and maximize revenue
High-level of autonomy for internal activities: investigation and proposal of appropriate technical design for new features, implementation, testing (manual & automated), interaction with Insight product development team when needed, effort estimation, etc
Desired Skills and Experience
Degree in computer science engineering or equivalent
6+ years of experience in software development for analytic systems
Proficiency in front-end development using html, css, js , jQuery , xml, angular etc.
Profciency with HTTP requests, asyncronus events, and promises
Testing frameworks for Javascript (Selenium, Cypress and/or others)
Proficiency with databases, SQL and NoSQL databases, and knowledge of big data technologies
Proficiency in any scientific programming language like Python (numpy, pandas etc.), R, MATLAB is a must
Proficiency in OOPS, OOAD, Algorithms and Data Structures
Proficiency with Git
Working knowledge of Agile methodology using Jira
Experience with working on Amazon Web Services/other cloud providers.
Ability to leverage new Javascript libraries
Personal Characteristics

Strong team player with ability to collaborate effectively across geographies/ time zones
