Job Description : 7-14 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
4+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Experience with building services with frameworks such as Netty, Hazelcast, Spring etc.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Proficient in Java programming, Spring, networking
Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive.
Computer Science fundamentals in systems design and networking; Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP), UDP, HTTPS
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in team settings
Ability to mentor team members as well as build relationships with business and technical leadership
Experience in network framework development(i.e. Netty, Jetty, Vert.x)
Experience with a variety of communication protocols (WebSocket, TCP, UDP)
Knowledge of database systems MySql/PostgreSQL/Cassandra is a plus.
Optimization of Java based applications, application servers, knowledge of performance patterns and full stack performance profiling and analysis.
Knowledge about functional programming in Java8 is a big plus.
Familiarity with cloud technologies to build, test, deploy and host solutions.
Hands-on experience on Kafka, Hazelcast is a big plus
Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker and AWS is a plus.
