What you will be doing:
You will be a member of NetBackup Cloud Solutions Product Engineering team delivering on the strategic road-map of an enterprise scale Cloud Solutions product. The team imbibes Agile Values and Principles. You will work with cross functional teams within engineering, product management, customer and usability groups. As member of technical staff, you’ll have the opportunity to grow as a software engineer in a culture of technical excellence, high team performance and strong work ethics.
Your work would be focused around:
Design and develop the data protection solution for Cloud environments with a focus on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Design and develop the data protection solution for workloads in Cloud like Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB and cloud native workloads like AWS RDS, Azure SQL etc.
What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:
BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCS/MCA degree in Computer science or equivalent field
Hands on software development experience of 5+ years
Experience in scripting languages like Python, Perl
Hands on with Docker/Containers, Kubernetes, Microservices architecture
Expertise in object-oriented design, multi-threaded service/application development
Experience in designing and developing Restful APIs
Strong problem solving skills and strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals including algorithms and data structures
Experience in writing High Quality Unit Tests and automation around it
Good to have:
Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience on NoSQL databases
