Job Description : Meta Open Arts builds community through creativity. We offer art-related experiences that invite new ways of thinking about ourselves, our communities, and the world at large. Open Arts is organized as five global areas of focus: Commissions, Design, Experiences, Partnerships, and Strategy & Operations. Meta Open Arts is seeking a Strategic Programs Manager to join the Partnerships team to help us define the next chapter of art at Meta. Our work supports Meta in making its products more diverse, inclusive, and equitable. We champion art as a tool to bring creativity, criticality, and community to Meta technologies and the development of the metaverse. This work includes building relationships with Meta product teams and identifying opportunities for artist collaborations that expand artistic practice, contribute meaningfully to Meta products and experiences, and elevate a creative diversity. The role will report to the Open Arts Partnerships Lead and support initiatives globally. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams across multiple internal business organizations with a strategic emphasis on Reality Labs, Product Design, Partnerships, and related teams. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of product design and knowledge of key Meta technologies including AR, VR, and AI. They will have experience managing relationships between creatives and product teams, cultivating strategic opportunities that leverage art and design; aligning multivariate business objectives; designing and executing projects at a range of scales and complexity; establishing and managing complex relationships; and building awareness and engagement among key constituencies. We value people who think big while still caring about details. We’re looking for an intellectually-curious and creative professional who is comfortable operating in ambiguity; a strategic thinker with strong creative problem-solving skills; and an action-oriented team player. The successful candidate will be skilled at identifying and championing unexpected connections between art and technology, acting as a convener and interlocutor, and advancing creative collaborations for measurable impact.
