Your Role:
The Lead is responsible for executing and developing the operational processes and manage the local SBS global operations team to meet the short and long-term expectations defined by the Global Pricing Operations Team. The Goals and Objectives include but are not limited to managing the SBS pricing operations team, which works on topics like the ones listed below:
maintain Global Reference, Local List and Local Limit Prices in the Life Science Pricing System LSP (module Price Optimizer)
extract, map and compare prices from LSP-PO versus local ERPs, SFDC and Web., identify gaps and inconsistencies, and correct these
maintain New Product Introduction Prices, and distribute these to the local ERPs
build Spoon Job, program tools (Spark or Python), including Pipeline Maintenance, bug-fixing and trouble shoot big data in Palantir-Foundry;
run SAP transactions for quality checks, create, upload and distribute or manually upload price files to local ERPs
support pricing team on Pricing Projects
document in step-by-step templates all operational processes and changes to these, as well as Visio process flows, and SOPs which are used for onboarding newcomers and for audits.
The team lead will become the go-to-person for questions and doubts, will provide one-on-one performance feedback, train the team and report to Global Pricing team. Together with the GPT the team lead will set the individual yearly goals, contribute to the creation, monitoring, review and enhancement process of the Key Performance Indicators and lead the implementation of the process improvements based on GPT decisions.
The key deliverables would be
Identify resource requirements such as: skill-sets, workload, expertise needed to execute the plan
Improve current processes in collaboration with the R&A Global Pricing Experts
Support internal operations; ensure compliance of process activities
Continuously mentor and develop individuals to meet department expectations
Escalate service problems to internal stakeholders
Execute Process/Project plans to meet corporate objectives
Deliver on SLAs in the Pricing Operations
Weekly status updates/ Reports to superiors
Build Efficiency and Productivity through Automations
Create value by analysis of the data points for Business Impact
Lead & Manage People
Ensure employees have the critical training to perform jobs
Resolve employee issues, concerns, and problems
Develop and implement staffing plan, and integrate new team members
Promote collaboration & remove obstacles to teamwork
Conduct regular and effective team meetings etc.
Operational Excellence
Managing Pricing operations processes and tools to leverage and optimize service delivery performance
Assign tasks to the right people, Achieve targeted efficiency gains and productivity norms
Become the Go-to expert for all teams questions and concerns related to data, tools and processes
Develop data, tools and process expertise to be able to identify improvements and implement these
Ensure resolution are provide on timely basis for escalations
Document the teams work and improve efficiency
Risks and preventive measures are shared with the Global Pricing Experts
Take applicable and relevant corrective action on the Customer feedback/Survey
Listens carefully to GPT and pricing users expressed needs
Support and deliver on New Transitions commitment
Understand, meet and exceed customer expectations, ensure SLA’s are met
Implement High Performance Workplace Process
Set Goals and measures for employees

Process management and system Implementation
Identify, Analyze, and resolve repetitive issues regarding Business knowledge or technical requirements for the service line.
Ensure all process documents are created and updated.
Be the one point of contact for all service line process documentation
Resolve to standards user support escalations and process breakdowns
Log standard calls. Monitor calls and escalate whenever necessary
Analyze the impact of the new solution on the service line
Co – ordinate new user set up.
Provide inputs to training and help in shaping training content.
Reporting and Analysis
Generate monthly reports for analysis
Provide process insight/business knowledge to the report owners
Continuous Process Improvement
Ensure implementation of the relevant Quality Management Systems
Ensure Compliance (Data privacy/confidentiality norms)
Who you are:
Education: BS in Science, Business, or related field. MBA – Desirable
Experience: 3-5 of Proven Pricing Experience and 2 years’ experience as a team leader
Proven technical proficiency with appropriate systems and analytic tools (Excel, MS Project, Visio, SAP, ETL tools, Programming in Python or Spark). Foundry and Tableau knowledge is a plus
Database Management Programming
Connecting multi-source files to read data
Cleaning data from unstructured format to structured format
Design complex data model using joins, relationship and sub-queries
Hands on experience in automating process writing advanced macro programming and manipulating data using arithmetic expressions
Complete knowledge in using functions and expressions to create insightful calculative, derived and manipulative fields
Programming in- SQL Base and Advanced, SAS and VBA automation
Reporting and Data Visualization
Complete understanding of designing KPI Metrics and replicating associative data model to data analysis, reporting and visualization
Hands on experience in designing complex data model using the concept star schema and snowflakes concept (fact table and dimension table relationship model)
Process optimization to summarizing data using advanced charts and expressions, calculations using functions and formulas
Prepare multiple packages for reporting and demising manual interventions
Reporting and visualization in- Excel and Tableau Dashboard
Essential and Critical Skills:
Data Analytics experience in Rail and Transit domain. Demonstrated expertise in complex database management reporting, data visualization and advanced analytics in analyzing data and effective communication for finding insights and optimizing profitability
Excellent analytical, business process analysis and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and Project Management skills
Talent for building cross-functional relationships and developing cross-functions understanding
Highly motivated and results-oriented Technical proficiency with appropriate procurement systems and analytic tools (Excel, Word, Programming, SAP)
