Routing Switching Portfolio (RSP) R&D organization is responsible for delivering platform-independent Service Aware Operating System (SAOS) and Access products to support Mobile Backhaul, Enterprise, NFV and White-box based applications in access and aggregation tiers of the network.
Gurgaon R&D center has seen exponential growth in various dimensions including development, test and release planning. In last 6 years, Gurgaon test team has grown to be the largest team across globe having ownership of multiple RSP products/releases. Team has huge state-of-art engineering lab in Gurgaon and real time exposure to Tier-1 service provider network deployments.
Regression team charter is to ensure business continuity by focusing on execution, analysis and enhancement of automated test suites across all RSP product lines. Team works closely with R&D Software, Automation development and Product Validation teams to deliver high quality releases.
As part of this team, you will be getting exciting opportunity to work on next generation technologies like Containers, Dockers, Virtualized Network Functions, advanced MPLS concepts, L3 protocols, Whitebox, D-NFVi. You will enable sprint stability in Agile development by keeping regression automation running daily. In short, you will be part of the team which owns complete regression of our next-generation products.
Your Responsibilities:
Execute / analyze automated regression scripts and file product defects for failures

Enhance and fix automation scripts on need basis

Build in-depth knowledge of product features and develop ability to root-cause issues

Execution of automated procedures and reporting test results.

Ensuring software meets standards and functional requirements to deliver quality product to customer

Improve the reliability of automated regression testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant experience with BE / B. Tech or similar Degree

Good Regression Triaging Experience

Good Automation experience in Python/TCL

Experience with traffic generators such as Ixia, Spirent.

Experience with some of networking protocols and technologies: L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS, BGP, Docker, NetConf, ISIS, TCP/TP protocols, OSI model and OSPF

Experience in fixing and enhancement of production automation scripts.

Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment

Good documentation skills

Good communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree, further education or experience in engineering, computer science or another technical related field.

Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

Experience over Agile Methodologies

Experience on D-NFVi, Containers, Virtual Network functions is plus.
