Job Family Definition:
Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
Management Level Definition:
Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.
Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Knowledge and Skills:
SFDC System Developer: 3 to 10 years IT industry total experience, specifically in Salesforce.com development (coding) and implementation. Any prior experience with other technologies like Java would be a plus. Candidate should have Mandatory (min 3 years) strong customization and configuration experience in the following areas: Experience in developing custom Lightning Web components in LWC.
LWC is highly preferred. If not then working exposure to Aura components is acceptable. Apex, API’s, Triggers Asynchronous processes, Scheduled and Batch Apex Data loader Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and SOSL HTML, CSS, JavaScript Integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST) Implementation knowledge of workflow rules, validation rule, approval process etc Service Cloud implementation Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for improvements Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience collaborating with distributed global team will be added advantage. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels Should have worked in Agile setup. Exposure to SAFE framework is desirable. Working experience in community cloud is a plus Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Integration CD/CI, test automation frameworks would be an added advantage.
CI/CD skills
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
