Job Description
Your Career
As our Cortex Systems Engineer Manager, you are the technical leader for the India Systems Engineering (SE) team focusing on the Cortex range of solutions. The SE team is expert on Cortex products and Solutions – primarily;
End-Point Security Detection & Remediation
Advanced SOAR solutions
Attack Surface Management solutions
These Solutions are focused on Security Operations, Incident Response, Forensics, Behavioural Analytics, Threat Intelligence, and Automation.
You will work closely with the India Cortex Sales Manager and Sales team and, along with your SE team, build relationships with your customers with the goal of helping them detect and prevent advanced cyberattacks and breaches. Our customers need guidance on what solutions to implement from our portfolio. The guidance, expertise, and technical leadership of you and your team of SEs will keep them ahead of the latest cyberthreats and staying on the leading edge of prevention.
We are looking for a technical leader to develop our Cortex technical SE team, providing strategic focus, management direction, mentorship, training and technical support as a security domain expert. We are also looking for someone with a real depth of experience in cyber security, able to provide advice, guidance to our customers based on deep knowledge and practical experience. Additionally, you will provide feedback to the product management team on new feature requests and product improvements based on what you learn from your customer base. Your team, in partnership with the sales account managers, will displace competitor technologies and build market share in your region, and, most importantly, help your client implement our products and services to effectively secure their business.
Your Impact
Provide technical direction and business guidance to the SE team, including setting strategic direction, goal setting and management, work prioritisation, career and performance management
Being highly effective in team management and also individually in the sales process and customer interactions, for example sharing security trends and standard methodologies employed by other customers
Build and maintain relationships with key customers to solidify reference accounts and to assist the account teams with defining plans to drive strategic business outcomes
Present to customers as our cyber security domain expert in your area of expertise at all levels in the customer hierarchy from technician to CIO
Actively develop and maintain a team of high-performing System Architects and continually seek creative methods for improving team performance.
Responsible to train, mentor, and review employees on your team, keeping them engaged and successful in their careers
Support field systems engineer team in complex evaluations, problem-solving and challenging customer environments
Recruit and hire new systems engineers into the territory, hiring the best talent in the industry
Develop relationships with channel partners and their technical teams to ensure colleagues are appropriately trained and can support our installations
Act as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales technical issues that arise
Working with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to build requirements and product features for our large customers and provide feedback from customersBase location is flexible within India (Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore)

Qualifications
Your Experience
You have significant experience in the cyber-security domain, for example as CISO, SOC Manager, Senior Analyst or experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager. Strong industry knowledge of customer cyber security needs and related security product market trends
Proven success in leading a team of highly technical individuals. You know how to develop team members’ capabilities in support of individual career goals and team objectives
An understanding of the pre-sales engineering process and sales processes
A high level of business acumen and experience working with CxO level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Demonstrated strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers
Strong English language skills, both oral and written.
