Job Description
Block’s People Analytics Team surfaces insights that guide better and more impactful people decisions across the company. We are looking for someone to respond to data-related questions, help scale our Talent Analytics offerings, and increase awareness and adoption of our tools and insights. Initially you will be focused on Talent Acquisition Analytics projects and operations, with potential to increase scope to include all facets of People Analytics operations.
You will:
Be the point person for intake of new Talent Analytics requests
Respond to common questions including troubleshooting data discrepancies, editing existing dashboards and analyses, and granting access to data
Work on a variety of analytical projects related to Talent Acquisition data
Create and promote data resources and training for internal clients (e.g., Talent Acquisition, HRBPs)
Build awareness of Talent Analytics insights and offerings through creative internal marketing campaigns
Make recommendations to improve existing data-collection methodologies, including encouraging client teams to embrace data hygiene
Translate complex findings and data in a compelling and easy-to-understand narrative for the end-user
Improve workflow processes to improve how the Talent Analytics team operates
Be an advocate of data-driven culture on the People Team and across Block

Qualifications
You Have:
3+ years of hands-on experience in a highly analytical role
Experience implementing processes that scale
Excellent written and verbal communication, including explaining technical concepts to a range of audiences and training people on new tools
Proficiency using and interpreting information through data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
Expertise in Excel / Google Sheet (queries, pivot tables, etc.)
Process mapping and systems improvement experience
Experience with change management
Experience dealing with confidential data
Experience working in a scaling Talent Acquisition organization
