The role

The Dynamics 365 CE Functional Expert with over 8+ years of experience in ERP systems and processes including engaging primarily in configuring systems, building business processes and improvements, designing reports and controls. It is a “business facing but IT accountable” role and requires the establishment and management of expectations within the firm to achieve those expectations to a high standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

Drive complex implementation by acting as single point of responsibility for both customer and project / program team.
Lead and coordinate team’s functional efforts towards implementation and customisation of D365
Provides clear and concise functional specification and communication, both written and verbal to stakeholder, client and project teams.
Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to add value to existing engagement through automation, improving effectiveness etc.
Takes ownership of business process optimisation and specifications to drive efficiency
Translating Business requirements and functional specifications into Technical Implementation Designs for D365 CE Developers and used artefacts to support Data/System Integration Testers, UAT
Customer Engagement (CRM) functionality of D365 to design end2end process flow through the platform regarding workflows redesign, integration and master data management (incl. migration), interfaces with Enterprise Apps. Designing of layout, data capture/requirements, marketing/case management, producing process maps and data dictionary for D365 for Integration and Data teams.
Stakeholder management, Requirements Gathering, SWOT Analysis, Gap Analysis, Risk Analysis, Change Management, ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-be’, Business Requirements Documentation, Organisation Readiness, Workshop Facilitation, Functional Testing, Data Analysis, Business Process Improvement, Workflow Diagrams, Support and Training Documentation

Skills Required
8+ years of proven D365 experience
Proven experience in Customer Engagement (CRM) functionality of D365.
Proven experience of Stakeholder management, Requirements Gathering, SWOT Analysis, Gap Analysis, Risk Analysis, Change Management
Good understanding of process, methodology followed for different types of projects, project monitoring and controlling mechanism, reporting mechanism including Agile User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Scrum / Kanban boards, Artefacts, EPIC, Features, Initiatives, Digital Transformation, Ceremonies, Time-box, Burn down, Velocity, Story points, Retrospective, Review, Estimation, Release Planning, Coaching, Mentoring, Backlog Grooming, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Backlog, Sprint, Iterative Development, Continuous Improvement
Should have experienced different models of delivery like onsite-offshore model etc.
Should be able to understand customer functional / technical requirement and assign tasks to the team members based on the skills.
Excellent Communication skills – Assertive, forward looking, have a balanced view of the situation, decisive and cogent skills.
